Reconnaissance - The goal of the Eastern Sky Project is to reach the most neglected and aid the most oppressed. To accomplish this task it takes great endurance, both of heart and of body, not to mention the logistics involved and the means to arrive at our destination. Most missions we conduct are 20% preparation, 60% getting to where we are going, and 20% work delivering aid. To minimize the time to delivery and maximize our direct impact, reconnaissance missions are necessary.
During a reconnaissance mission we map roads, make contacts, record trip costs, and determine the needs of those we reach and much more. We have several areas we plan to reach soon in various parts of Asia including Mongolia, Tibet, Malaysian and Indonesian Borneo, Papaw New Guinea, and many of the 18,000 islands of Indonesia. These Recon teams will take team members on hundreds of Kilometers of logging roads and the thickest jungles in the world to reach forgotten people, forgotten causes, and to deliver hope to many who are in desperate need of encouragement. Join us on our next journey; it will change your life in so many ways.
